Thompson “Boy” Mushwana started with the company back in 2004 as a General Employee at Lufafa Hatchery. Due to his diligent and hard-working nature, he quickly progressed through the ranks and was soon promoted to a Foreman. With this promotion, Thompson was also tasked with managing the water at both the chicken houses as well as the hatchery. This was no mean task and often required him to be up at all times of the night – especially in the summer months – so as to ensure that all the chickens had water to drink the following day. He did this duty with aplomb and unfailing dedication.
In his latter years at Lufafa, Thompson taught other employees his knowledge of the water system and came to be recognized as a “father” figure to many of his fellow colleagues.
Thompson was a model employee, who always worked with a fantastic attitude and a smile on his face.
From all of us at Lufafa, we wish him a restful and peaceful retirement. He has earned it!!!
